In addition to our standard sizes of moulds and deckles, we can also make custom sizes and shapes. The price is generally about 20% more than the price for the next-larger standard product. Here are a couple of examples:
A custom deckle to make five bookmarks, which fits our standard 8¼×11″ mould
A custom 5⅜×7¼″ envelope deckle and matching legal-size (8½×14″) mould which we use in our shop. In this case the deckle outline is such a close fit to the mould size that a ribbed mould is not really needed.
In addition to the square-flap envelope style, we can also make deckles for triangular-flap envelopes (more like standard business envelopes), but these generally require a larger mould size.
Because of limitations both in our production equipment and also the strength of the HDPE frame material against the tension of the screen, we cannot make ribbed moulds larger than 14×24″ or plain moulds larger than 14″ in either dimension
